Nobody in the office was spared from Hurricane Irma’s effects. After the rain cleared and we surfaced for air, we went out to survey what had become of our exquisite city. While the goal was to capture some of the recovery and aftermath of the hurricane, the thread that ties everything together is the concept of resilience. All of these moments, from uprooted trees, to boarded up windows, to the beached boat, have a simple yet complex beauty to them.
